Unfortunately, we will not be having an event today from 4-5 PM due to inability to get a facilitator for our ASL Basics event to learn the alphabet, common daily phrases and emotions in american sign language. We were unable to advertise this event due to this limbo!
Our next event will happen next Thursday called Disability in Media and will be Thurs May 1st from 4-5 PM. Location TBD. This will be a hybrid meeting with webex joining. It will be a discussion about how disability is presented in different medias with guided questions. Come give your opinions and hangout! There will be many snacks and drinks—gluten free options as well.
