We will inform the UMBC community more about our major and promote upcoming events that we plan to (co-)sponsor affiliated with ethnic issues through attractive flyers and sign-up sheets for any future AFST updates!

"Reclaiming the 'N' Word"--an insightful forum based on the pros and cons of the powerful word.

"What's Love Got to Do With It?: Black Representation in the Media"--a collective and respectful forum showing the identity and social responsibility through various images of Black love in sitcoms, films, and music videos, while underlying the harm these false images can cause.
