Benjamin Ault and Hans-Jacob Larsen Nesheim were selected as the winner of the 14th annual "iOme Challenge" competition for their research essay, "US Retirement Policy: Personalizing Retirement Security."
Professor Lamdin was their advisor.
UMBC is the first college or university to have won this competition three times!
In addition to the $5,000 award, they will present the essay as part of a symposium and reception in Washington DC on June 20. This can be attended in-person or remotely with no registration fee.
