A UMBC team has won this 4 times! More times than any other college or university.
Each team must have a faculty mentor.
If interested send (in one e-mail with attachments) the team members (3 +/- 1 is about the right team size), a statement of interest (why the team would be good for this), team member resumes and one research/writing sample from each team member. Send this by January 31 to Professor Lamdin <lamdin@umbc.edu>.
This does take time and effort. If you have 16 or more credits adding this may be taking on more than you can handle. ECON 493 credit is available.
The team with the strongest looking backgrounds (GPA, coursework, statement of interest, research background) will be selected to participate.
