Position Title: Lecturer in Economics
Location: UMBC, Baltimore, MD

Position Description
Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in introductory and intermediate level microeconomics and macroeconomics as well as opportunities for teaching upper level undergraduate special field courses. The position has a teaching load of 4 three credit hour courses each semester. The successful candidate will also be encouraged to participate in undergraduate curriculum development and student learning outcomes assessment.

Qualifications
Completion of a PhD in Economics is strongly preferred. There is also a preference for candidates with a track record of teaching effectiveness.
