Meeting With our Mentors
Sunday, May 6, 2018 · 6 - 8 PM
This is our final meeting with the professional mentors for the semester!
Our professional mentor team is involved in our project from start to finish and they will be travelling with us on trips. They can also serve as great professional contacts. The meeting on April 8th was a lot of fun and Andrew, one of our mentors, taught us a lot about how the pressurized water supply systems in many of our neighborhoods work. This meeting will focus on the Costa Rica water project: the questions we are asking of the community and the data we will be gathering on the trip. We will also be talking about the exciting plans already in the works for next semester! All are welcome, it will be a great chance to get caught up on all the research we've been doing and to brainstorm some more ideas for helping our community in Costa Rica have clean, reliable water.
The official meeting will run from 6-7 p.m. The rest of the time is "overflow" time to continue interesting conversations, finish up little projects, and just spend some time getting to know each other! This meeting is required for the team traveling to Costa Rica this summer.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
