Seven Schools One University

With the support of a four-year, $4 million Research Evaluation and Commercialization Hubs (REACH) grant from the National Institutes of Health, the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) will advance the life science economy in West Baltimore and Greater Baltimore and accelerate the development of the biomedical and innovation workforce in Baltimore.

The second cohort of UM-BILD Accelerator Awardees will be announced in April.


Applications for the UM-BILD Accelerator will open in August 2025
for the September 2025 funding cycle (Cohort 3).
