MyRCA faculty research collaboratory program

Dear Colleagues,

As a reminder: applications for "Make Your Research Come Alive" (MyRCA), a UMBC faculty research collaboratory program, are due in nine days, on October 15th. 

The program will bring together a cross-disciplinary cohort of 12-15 UMBC faculty members.  Interactive and hands-on monthly 2-hour sessions from December 2026 through May 2027 will help participants:

  • develop skills in describing the impact of their research/creative work
  • create compelling pitches and broader impact narratives tailored to foundations, corporations, and donors
  • learn from each other in a supportive, cross-disciplinary cohort model.

Participants receive up to $500 in research funds upon completion of the program.
