The 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is currently available. If you are considering applying for financial aid at UMBC during the 2023-2024 academic year, we encourage you to submit the FAFSA by our March 1st priority deadline. Be sure to include the UMBC school code 002105 so our office can review your financial aid eligibility.

If you are a Maryland resident and interested in applying for state aid consideration, submitting the application to UMBC by March 1st will allow the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) to review you for all state aid eligibility. You can find more information about MHEC awards and how to qualify at https://mhec.maryland.gov/preparing/Pages/FinancialAid/descriptions.aspx.
