Dear UMBC Community,
The 2026–2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available at studentaid.gov. All students who wish to be considered for federal, state, and institutional financial aid should complete the FAFSA.
Be sure to include UMBC's school code: 002105 when completing your application.
In the coming weeks, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will begin contacting students to confirm when their FAFSA information has been received and to request any additional documentation needed to complete the review process. Students are encouraged to continue to monitor their myUMBC page for additional information and alerts once they have submitted their FAFSA.
