Tax returns are due April 17!
The GSA/GAAC is partnering with the UMBC Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) to provide a session where VITA participants will be available to answer your questions without the need for a prior appointment.
When: Wednesday, April 11, 12-1pm
Where: Sondheim 110
What to bring: Your questions! And any material that can help the VITA participant understand your question.
UMBC VITA is a group of students who are trained and certified by the IRS to prepare tax returns for low income families. They can help you find free file options, explain whether you are a dependent, assess whether you even need to file a tax return, and much more.
Note, this is not a tax-filing session; it is a session designed to answer specific questions students have about their returns.
