Happy Friday Retrievers!
We have great events lined up for you all over the next few days.
The McNair Scholars virtual event will be the perfect opportunity for First Gen students to explore different ways of receiving funding for either undergraduate or graduate education. This virtual event will take place on Saturday, October 7th from 1-2:30pm. NSF funding is available for everyone despite their major, so this event is non-STEM major friendly. There will also be an opportunity for students to ask NSF reps questions towards the end of the event.
Please click the link below to register for the meeting and receive further meeting information.
There will also be a John Hopkins Graduate School Info Session at UMBC.
Lauren Black, a representative from John Hopkin´s Public Health Graduate Program, will be visiting UMBC to give us an overview of what attending John Hopkins School of Public Health would look like. This event will take place on Monday, October 9th at 12:00pm in PUP 208. This is the perfect event for anyone who is thinking about pursuing a master´s degree in public health. Lauren Black will be here to answer any questions you might have about John Hopkins!
Hope to see you all at these events!
