As part of UMBC's Veterans Week celebration, we invite faculty, staff, and students to participate in our Virtual Green Zone Ally Training — an engaging and informative session designed to deepen understanding and awareness of the experiences of our veteran and military-affiliated community members.

This training serves as a form of diversity and cultural awareness education, focusing on the unique perspectives and challenges that student veterans bring to the classroom and campus environment. Participants will gain insight into the transition from military to academic life, explore strategies for creating inclusive and supportive learning spaces, and learn practical ways to serve as allies to veterans at UMBC.
