The Giving Pack is the Hilltop Society's new student philanthropy group, created to celebrate what it means to be a philanthropic Retriever. Philanthropy is often thought of as donating, but at its core, philanthropy simply means giving back. While supporting UMBC through a gift is one meaningful way to do that, it's far from the only way. Philanthropy can be expressed by sharing your time, lending your voice, showing gratitude, and working to strengthen the community around you.

Today's social event is just the beginning. With the Giving Pack, we're starting a movement that will carry Retriever spirit forward all year, bringing students together, giving back in various ways, and showing what it means to be a truly philanthropic Retriever
