Meet leaders and learn how to get involved in MD Legislature

On Wednesday, May 3, UMBC’s Center for Democracy and Civic Life, Office of Government Relations and Community Affairs, and Student Government Association will host Changing Maryland. This free catered dinner program will take place from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Apartment Community Center Multipurpose Room. Members of the UMBC community will meet state leaders, learn about issues that were addressed in the 2023 legislative session, and discuss how UMBC students, faculty, staff, and alumni can get involved in shaping legislation in Annapolis.
