Welcome to GLBL!

This session will include an overview of all major requirements as well as vital information on what to expect during your time in the program, including our registration and advising processes, and Study Abroad application timelines.  You will also get an opportunity to meet your fellow GLBL majors, as well as some program faculty and staff. This session has been designed specifically for new Global Studies majors starting with UMBC Fall 2018 semester (Freshmen, newly matriculating Transfer students, and other newly declared majors).  This session will be held on the first day of class, Wednesday 29 August, in Fine Arts Building room 559, from 12-12:45 pm (during ‘Free Hour’).
