hackUMBC Organizer Applications Are Open!

Following an amazing hackUMBC 2026, we are gearing up to make our 2027 hackathon the best one yet. To bring this vision to life, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated UMBC students to step into our organizer team!

Organizing hackUMBC gives you a hands-on opportunity to sharpen your skills, collaborate and connect with other skilled individuals, and make a lasting impact at UMBC by executing one of the largest student-led events on campus. You can apply for any of the following specialized teams and indicate your preference on the form:

• Sponsorship: Builds relationships with sponsors, oversees catering, and manages volunteer support during events.
• Marketing: Leads outreach and promotion through social media, myUMBC, and campus advertising, and collaborates with external partners.

• Design: Creates event branding, graphics, and merchandise, and designs the overall visual theme and venue layout.

Interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis, so early submissions are strongly encouraged! Please note that all interviews will be conducted in-person.
