Faculty-Led Internship Information Session + Graduate School Forum
Come get key info from two of our own faculty members!
In the coming weeks, students will have two opportunities to learn about the Public Health intership process and gain insight into grad school applications, with sessions led by UMBC faculty.
On Wednesday, September 16th (two days from now), Katie Birger will be hosting an internship information session in Public Policy 204 from 12-12:45 pm. This session will explain student requirements and important materials to prepare ahead of the Spring and Summer 2027 internship application season.

On Wednesday, September 23, Dr. Jun Chu will represent the Public Health department in a graduate forum led by the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Public Health. This session will also take place from 12-12:45 PM in Public Policy 204. In this session, students have the opportunity to hear directly from faculty members who have completed the grad school process themselves. Come learn from their firsthand experiences!
