We would like to invite you to the Fika meeting on Monday, September 24th, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm in the ITE 430 room.
Sidas Saulynas , a PhD student at UMBC, will be our speaker to give us a brief talk about the course he teaches at Stevenson University called: "Presentation Theory and Application". In this course, SU students learn that there are three fundamental principals that one should follow if one wishes a presentation to deliver the optimal impact to an audience.
For this Monday's Fika, Sy will be giving a brief overview of these principals in the hope that they might provide you with some initial guidance as to how one should prepare for a research presentation.
If you miss Sy's talk during summer, it's time to attend it again! can't wait to see all of you!
Also, you can join us through Skype, please search 'umbc.isrc' and call us around 2:50 pm
Best,
The HCC Fika Committee
