Hispanic Heritage Month Kick Off
a kick off to a month of celebrating Hispanic/Latino culture
Monday, September 16, 2013 · 7:30 - 10:30 PM
On Campus : Flat Tuesdays
Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Join us on Sept. 16 at Fat Tuesdays (Commons) as we celebrate the kick-off to Hispanic Heritage Month at UMBC. The evening will consist of a Taste of Latin America where you will have an opportunity enjoy delicious food, great music, performances, and we will end the evening with a Salsa competition.
Sponsored by: Hispanic/Latino Student Union, Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. and Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.
HLSU, LTA, and Lambda Theta Phi are non exclusive groups. We invite all UMBC students to come celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
