Talk Title: Share or Perish: Open Science, Open Data and What it All Means to iHARP Researchers
Abstract
This talk will introduce open data theory and practices including recent
requirements for federally funded projects generating models and data.
We will discuss the reasons why curating data is fundamental for
research reproducibility and reliability, as well as how it contributes
to multiply the impact of research. Â What curation entails in terms of
researchers’ efforts and research infrastructure requirements will also
be presented. In particular, we will brainstorm about how all of this is
pertinent to iHARP.
