Dear members of the campus community,
I am writing to inform you that we have begun a national search for the Associate Vice Provost for International Education. This position, formerly held by Dr. Arlene Wergin, Director of International Education Services, will build on the foundation established by Dr. Wergin during her decades of outstanding service to our community.
Dr. Kathleen Carroll, Associate Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and Associate Professor of Economics has kindly agreed to chair the search committee. Under Dr. Carroll's leadership, I have appointed a search committee, and the names of the members of the committee are listed below. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each of the committee members for both their willingness to serve and their commitment in agreeing to undertake this important institutional responsibility.
The committee will share with our community the progress of the search over the coming months. I know that all of us will do everything we can to support the committee in their execution of this important task.
