Men's Basketball rewrites the record books with historic NCAA win!
UMBC’s Men’s Basketball is going to round two of the NCAA Basketball Tournament following the 74-54 win over the University of Virginia’s (UVA) Cavaliers Friday night! In historic fashion, UMBC upset no. 1 overall seed UVA, shocking the nation and earning the new name, UMBC: University of a Million Brackets Crushed.
Our next game in the tournament is set for Sunday, March 18, 7:45 p.m. against no. 9 seed Kansas State. The game will be televised on TNT.

Current UMBC students interested in traveling to the game should review our bus trip packages. The Student Fan Bus for the NCAA tournament round two game is scheduled to depart from UMBC Stadium Lot on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 8 a.m.
