Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to announce the launch of the annual Maryland Charity Campaign. This year, we again ask that you give every consideration to making a charitable contribution to one or more of the nearly 1,000 charities participating in this year's campaign.
UMBC's Maryland Charity Campaign, co-chaired by Jack Suess, Vice President of Information Technology, and Dana Bradley, Dean of the Erickson School for Aging Studies, has officially launched. You will be receiving additional information and resources about the campaign from your coordinator in the days ahead, and we would like to extend to them our appreciation for all that they do to make this work a success.
Every year, hundreds of UMBC colleagues make a difference with their charitable giving through this campaign. There are few illustrations of our community's generosity and commitment more powerful than our collective participation in the Maryland Charity Campaign.
Thank you for giving this campaign your every consideration.
President Freeman Hrabowski and Provost Philip Rous
