Skill Builder workshops focus on Blackboard basics such as building content, creating assignments, or using the grade center. The workshops also provide support for screencasting and virtual classrooms via web conferencing. There are seven (7) workshops in the series:
- Tuesday, September 6 - Skill Builder: Course Management
- Friday, September 9 - Skill Builder: Building Course Content
- Tuesday, September 20 - Skill Builder: Screencasting Fundamentals
- Tuesday, October 13 - Skill Builder: Communication Tools
- Monday, October 24 - Skill Builder: Blackboard Collaborate
- Monday, November 7 - Skill Builder: Delivering Bb Assignments & Tests
- Monday, November 28 - Skill Builder: Grading & the Grade Center
Skill Builder workshops are a great way to learn about new features in Blackboard, enhance an existing skill set, or network with other instructors. Departments may also schedule Skill Builder sessions or customize a bundle to fit the specific needs of their faculty.
