Webinar for the 2022 IRC Faculty Research Fellowship
Information session for the 3/1 application deadline
Tuesday, January 25, 2022 · 12 - 1 PM
The possibilities for exciting interdisciplinary research collaborations between the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and the College of Engineering and Information Technologies are limitless. Projects such as the recent CADVC exhibition of the work of Annette Crowenberg, new research in digital culture, and the use of storytelling to increase the cultural impact of research, only scratch the service. The 2022 IRC Faculty Research Fellowship (IRC-FRF), formerly for only CAHSS faculty will be piloted in 2022 as an interdisciplinary grant to seed collaborative research between researchers in CAHSS and COEIT. This year, the grant funding has been increased to a maximum of $24,000 to accommodate two researchers for a single project, though the review committee will reserve the right to consider funding more than one smaller project as lesser amounts. The Fellowship can be used to advance a current project or begin an entirely new one.
