Proposal Development, S2S Grants.gov, & Budget Basics

1/2 Day Class for Department Administrators

Tuesday, April 16, 2019 · 9 AM - 12 PM

This course is for any department administrator who prepares proposals and budgets and covers the construction of a full proposal using Kuali software. Participants will learn all functions of proposal development, including Kuali navigation, adding proposal attachments, and submitting the proposal for approvals.

This course is "hands-on" and laptops will be provided. You will be expected to participate and complete the exercises during the class. A Training Guide is provided. (linked to this event)

Also included in this class is the introduction of S2S (system-to-system) proposal creation using Grants.Gov.

Audience: any department administrator who prepares proposals.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to -

Navigate Kuali,
Create and edit proposal documents and upload attachments
Develop and create Basic Proposal Budgets in Kuali
Understand Kuali proposal routing, and workflow
Submit a proposal
