We're continuing our walk through the 7 Deadly Sins.
Up this week: Wrath
Wrath- an overwhelming anger that wants vengeance on others. In this week where we remember Jesus' death at the hands of others, we focus on the dehumanizing effects of wrath. Anger is ok- but it cannot cloud out that others are ones created and loved by God, so it must be used carefully to destroy structures that hurt people, but not hurt those people themselves. We will have a guest speaker to share with us about creative non-violence.
Come late or leave early- we know that classes and other such stuff often gets in the way. And as always, all people and all viewpoints are welcome.
