About 500 years ago (Oct. 31st, 1517), a monk named Martin allegedly nailed some stuff to a church door to start a conversation about how God's love worked- if we had to do stuff to earn it, or it we got it for free and then lived it out by doing good to others. And that conversation ended up splitting the church which led to all manner of splitting apart after that.
500 years later, we'll look at what that fight was about and how the Church can keep changing with the times, yet remain deeply faithful to God's intention for the world. Bring your comments about what needs to keep changing in the church and what must always stay the same.
All people and all viewpoints welcome. And we really mean that.
