Racism and the Church's response
Home-cooked dinner and discussion
Wednesday, March 13, 2019 · 6 - 7:30 PM
4 of our UMBC students will be joining other university students on a trip to Selma, Birmingham, Montgomery and Atlanta for Spring Break to journey through our Civil Rights history and talk about where we are 50 years later and the Church's role in continuing to dismantle racism.
In preparation for that, we're talking about our country's legacy of racism and how it has also infected the Church. Come for a free dinner and a frank discussion and to talk about hope that we see breaking out.
All people and all viewpoints are welcome.
Come when you can, leave when you have to (EVEN IF YOU CAN ONLY STAY FOR DINNER!).
