We're going to be spending some time with parts of the Gospel of Mark for the next bunch of weeks, hearing the stories of Jesus.  The Gospel of Mark was written to a community that was suffering and wondering where the hope was when the world in front of them looked like a mess.  Sounds familiar?  When life is hard, it's good to learn on our sacred stories to help us make sense of the world and God's hope in the midst of it.
