SIAM Student Chapter Professional Development

Join SIAM as we welcome a panel of current and former graduate students from the department of Mathematics and Statistics discuss how to best transition from your graduate education into an industry career.

Our invited speakers are:

Rowena Bastero (Statistics)

Bryce Carey (Math)

Preston Donovan (Math)

Sam Khuvis (PhD Math)

Our panelists will speak towards their experiences transitioning into industry and offer insights to how you can best make the transition yourself, and how to best prepare starting as a new student.

Be sure to bring any questions you might have as a Q and A session will follow the panel discussion.

SIAM is also happy to provide a free lunch to all those that attend.
