After more than two years of COVID-related shut down, we are pleased to see in person visits to local community colleges. In Spring 2022, Drs. Ronghui Ma and Deepa Madan visited Howard Community College and Carrol County Community College.  Both gave a seminars to the community college students and faculty, provided information of the Mechanical Engineering Program, and scholarship information of the ME S-STEM scholarship Program at UMBC.  We hope that our efforts would lead to more community students transferring to the 4-year ME program at UMBC.
