ME S-STEM scholarship program held a retreat to welcome 14 new scholars to our program.  Dr. Zhu gave a pointpoint presentation on the description of the program, activities, and expectations.  Dr. Topoleski provided an excellent talk on how to fit into college/umbc life.  Lunch was delicious.  The scholars had a great opportunity to mingle with each other, talk to faculty mentors, and enjoy the food.  We are looking forward to an exciting and productive academic year.
