Invitation to the Mu Sigma Rho Induction Ceremony 2026

Dear All,

We are delighted to invite you to attend the Mu Sigma Rho Induction Ceremony at UMBC on Wednesday, May 13th, at 10:00 AM in MP 401.

This ceremony marks a special occasion as we welcome our newest members into Mu Sigma Rho, the National Honor Society in Statistics. We are especially honored that Dr. Thomas Mathew, one of our highly respected senior faculty members in the department, will join us as our guest speaker and share remarks with our new inductees.

Whether you are a Mu Sigma Rho member or simply interested in Statistics, academic achievement, and our department community, you are warmly invited to join us for this memorable event. It will be a wonderful opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of our inductees and connect with fellow students and faculty. We also hope to have several faculty members join us in celebrating and supporting our students during this special occasion.

During the ceremony, inductees will receive their membership certificates and Mu Sigma Rho pins/cords in recognition of their induction into the honor society.

Following the ceremony, we will have a pizza and donut reception for members, inductees, faculty, and guests. We hope you will stay to celebrate and enjoy time together with our community.
