HR POSITION
Hello MTC Members
We would like to inform you that Jadyn will, unfortunately, be stepping down from her HR position on the board this year due to the amount of academic credits and work outside of the club. She has been thinking about this for a while and decided that it may be the best option for the club. She gives thanks and positive wishes to everyone in this year's showcase and small fall! She hopes everyone has a great rest of their semester!
The HR position is unique because as it stands it puts one member in charge of handling conflicts and issues as they are reported. Up until now we have encouraged members to email our HR members and fill out a form that they have ownership of. However, we have learned very quickly that this is a lot for one person to handle. With that in mind the board would like to propose cutting the HR position from the MTC E-Board, we do have a plan in mind for what we can do to resolve this.
Instead of having an HR member we would like to propose that if HR issues arise you can email our mtc email and fill out a new HR form. All board members would have access to this form, however if you have conflicts with one of the board members or just do not want the whole board to know, you can explicitly state if you do not want certain members to see your report. Basically the system will stay the same but it will be run by the board instead of just one member of the board. This will help us to resolve conflicts and issues as a team and it will alleviate having all of that pressure and responsibility on one person. The ability to report anonymously will remain a part of the form, just be aware that if you do choose to report anonymously then that will restrict what the board can do in terms of helping you to find solutions.
This is a major change and we would like to know from you as club members where you stand with this. If you could please share your honest thoughts and opinions on this proposal using the form that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Based on the feedback the board will reconvene and decide if this is something that we are willing to put into place. So if you are interested in being in the HR position, it may still be open later on. For right now if you have any current HR conflicts please use the current HR form. The current HR form as it stands will be going through the board.

MTC FALL SEMESTER POST MORTEM FORM
MTC has had a wonderful semester so far and we just completed our small fall showcase. We are now at the time where we would love to receive feedback from you all. This is your chance to share your thoughts on how the fall semester has gone so far. This can include anything related to Showcase, GBMs, Events, communication, etc. This form will be anonymous.
We really value your feedback as it helps us see what went well, what could be improved, and how to make things better in the future. Thank you!
