I hope your semester is progressing well.
We invite dedicated and passionate graduate students of Nigerian descent to volunteer as the Director General of the Nigeria Graduate Student Association. As we continue to grow and strive to provide valuable opportunities and resources to our fellow students of Nigerian descent, fresh perspectives and proactive leadership are essential.
We are specifically seeking enthusiastic individuals interested in contributing to the planning, organization, and execution of various events, initiatives, and projects that aim to enhance the academic, professional and social experiences of graduate students.
Director General
● Oversee other Directors.
● Create an end-of-semester and yearly report for GSA and Advisors.
● Step into other director roles as needed.
● Liaise with GSA and Advisors to sustain a good relationship.
● Veto power on decision-making.
● Create a meeting agenda.
Volunteering for a leadership position within the Nigeria Graduate Student Association offers a unique opportunity to develop valuable leadership skills, build a strong network within the graduate student community, and impact the overall student experience.
