Join us tomorrow, Friday, May 5 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at our M.O.S.T. OER Creation Showcase to hear from faculty who have created openly licensed instructional and learning materials. The event will take place online via Zoom.
The Showcase will start with a keynote presentation, Using Open to Create More Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive Resources, presented by Apurva Ashok, Executive Director of the Rebus Foundation.
Following the keynote presentation, we will have three concurrent Showcase blocks featuring Maryland faculty and the open educational resources they have created. Come hear about new open resources for courses such as Elementary Spanish, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, ESL Academic Writing, and more.
Presenters will present for 10-15 minutes, followed by moderated Q&A, for a total of 20 minutes per Showcase.
All events, groups, organizations, and centers are open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
