Selling Books for Cash

Spring 2014 Textbook Buyback takes place May 12-22 at UMBC Bookstore. Students may sell their books to the store for up to 50% of the new retail price and receive cash on the spot.  Buyback customers also receive a coupon for 30% off all UMBC apparel and logo merchandise. Rental Textbook Return Deadline: Wednesday, May 21 by 4:00 p.m.

Spring 2014 textbooks not returned by the deadline will incur replacement fees billed to the student’s University Account, which may result in registration and housing holds if not paid on time.
