Oftentimes companies tend to look within their organization to fill an open position. It has been well documented the benefit (and detriment) that promoting within can bring to a business, although most of these discussions tend to be generic. During this webinar, we will explore the benefits and challenges of promoting an engineer into a leadership or management position.
Nate Wyrick has over 11 years of industry experience, all within the realm of engineering and management. He has held positions internationally and throughout the United States, ranging across multiple disciplines. This exposure to a wide range of engineering, technology and diversity has allowed him to become an exceptional technical manager. His knowledge extends from upstream oil and gas (both drilling and production), through destructive and non-destructive testing. He also has done extensive work on quality optimization through utilizing industry recognized techniques via Lean 6 sigma, standard work instructions, and more.
