To All Political Science Students:

Welcome back! With the Spring 2014 semester in
full swing, the Political Science Council of Majors will be hosting its first open
meeting of the semester on Wednesday February 5^th from noon –
1 PM in Room 107 of the Public Policy Building.

The Political Science Council of Majors seeks to unite “those students who are interested in pursuing a Political Science Major, or any associated minors and concentrations, as well as those students interested in a graduate education and/or career in a field related to Political Science.” The Council of Majors also provides students a unique opportunity to work closely with the UMBC Political Science Department.

Many of our members are additionally involved in organizations within the university and are willing to help others get involved on campus through valuable internships and research opportunities. It is a well-known fact that all active members will be given the chance to speak, leadand learn. Your time has come!

This meeting is open to all members, as well as anyone interested in joining the Council or seeking more information about the organization. Pro-active students may fill out the attached PSCM Spring 2014 Application and bring it to the meeting. Please feel free to emailpscm@umbc.eduwith any questions or applications.
