Professor Sommer's grad student workshop in October will focus on professional development. We will discuss your career as grad students and then hopefully as young scholars. The topics will include how to think about research and time management, publications and conference papers, issues related to teaching while at grad school and beyond. The workshop will focus on the areas of interest of the students and on their research agendas.
