The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) is hiring for their summer analyst internship program. Internships are paid and have the potential to be converted to a permanent position. The application will close either when the first 300 applications are submitted or on Friday, January 5, 2024. Students can learn more about GAO's different mission teams here.
Students should be aware that it's not yet definitive whether the internship will be 100% virtual but, the internship is eligible for telework with the option of working in person. If hired, interns will be assigned to one of the GAO locations listed in the vacancy announcement for the position that they applied for, and that location will be their assigned Official Duty Station (ODS). Interns will be required to report in person to their ODS for their first day of the new hire orientation to complete necessary. Below is the link to the undergraduate application:
