Last chance to enroll in SOCY 396 - Reflections on Community Engaged Learning: A Sociological Perspective
The first day of class will be Tuesday, February 24th so it's not too late to enroll and gain hands-on experience this semester!
SOCY 396 is an excellent springboard for current and emerging leaders interested in community engagement and public service.
Students choose from hands-on, community-engaged learning experiences in:
- Education
- Sustainability and food access
- Social inclusion and advocacy
- And more!
- A community-building approach
- Baltimore-focused engagement
- Guest speakers, readings, and reflective practice
- Possible field trip
Time: Tuesdays, 1:00-2:15 PM
Location: Public Policy 115
Credits: 3 Credits (Pass/Fail)
