Position Overview
Abrams & Bayliss LLP is seeking a Director of Recruiting to lead and manage the recruitment of law students and practicing attorneys. The Director of Recruiting will oversee all aspects of the firm's hiring efforts, working closely with the firm's attorneys and leadership to attract exceptional talent. This role is based in Wilmington, Delaware.
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as the primary point of contact for job applicants, communicating information about the firm, its practice areas, and its culture
· Coordinate and schedule interviews for law student and lateral attorney candidates
· Assign and manage interview slates, ensuring appropriate attorney participation across candidate interviews
· Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of the firm's summer associate program, including onboarding, work assignments, social events, and evaluations
· Manage all logistics and travel arrangements for job applicants and recruiting committee members, including on-campus interview programs and callback visits
· Build and maintain relationships with law school career services offices and attend law school recruiting events as a representative of the firm
· Track and analyze recruiting data and metrics to support the firm's strategic hiring goals
· Coordinate with firm leadership on recruiting budgets, timelines, and hiring priorities
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree required; experience in recruiting or administration strongly preferred
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
· Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and effectively with law students, practicing attorneys, and law school career services professionals
· Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
· Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and standard office software
· A collaborative and collegial working style with a commitment to providing outstanding service to candidates and attorneys
