Dear working group,
We know that many of you are interested in contributing your time and talents to BookFest '26 which is part of National Library Week. BookFest events will take place on Tuesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 23. As we discussed at our meeting on Wednesday, these two dates will include the following:
April 21
11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Book Fair
AOK Library Courtyard
5:00–6:30 p.m.
One Maryland, One Book Lunch Event (in partnership with Maryland Humanities)
University Center 302
April 23
12:00-1:00 p.m.
Library Advocacy Workshop
Location TBD
4:30–6:00 p.m.
Maryland State Library Agency Programming (details TBA)

If you would like to commit to support BookFest planning and/or day-of operations, please click on this VOLUNTEER SIGNUP and answer the questions provided. We welcome any and all support you can give! If you have any co-workers or peers who are not a part of this group but might like to contribute, please share the signup link with them.
We will firm up the teams and positions by March 9.
