Parking Services is conducting our annual Fall Food for Fines campaign. The program
provides the opportunity to help students, staff and faculty who are experiencing food
insecurity. The program runs until Friday, November 21.
How does it work? If you currently have an outstanding citation for this semester ($50
or less), you can donate 5 non-perishable or 5 toiletry items to Parking Services
(located at 900 Walker Avenue), and we will reduce one citation to a warning (citation
cost removed). All items collected are donated to Retriever Essentials, UMBC's campus
food bank.
Visit parking.umbc.edu for the top requested items. We cannot accept expired items,
toilet paper, paper towels and opened items. This offer does not apply to previously paid
citations. We are open from 8AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday, closed for lunch from 12:30PM to 1:30PM.
Every donation makes a difference. Help a fellow student while helping with your bank
account. It's a win-win situation.
