On Friday, Public Policy Professor Pamela R. Bennett spoke on a panel at the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland's 23rd Annual Legislative Weekend.
The two-day event focused on educating and engaging local leaders on a variety of topics impacting the African-American community in Maryland in order to craft policies for the coming decade.
Prof. Bennett participated on a panel during Friday's session "Reconciliation and Equity, a Conversation on Race: Impact on Health" organized by the Health and Human Services Committee (chaired by Sen. Shirley Nathan-Pulliam) in partnership with the Baltimore chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE).
