UMBC's "Bridging AI and Quantum" symposium successfully brings together researchers and ideas!

The Bridging AI and Quantum Symposium brought together researchers from across UMBC and external collaborators on September 10, 2026, to explore emerging opportunities at the intersection of artificial intelligence and quantum science. Jointly organized by the Center for Accelerated Real Time Analytics (CARTA), the Quantum Science Institute (QSI), and the UMBC Center for AI, the day-long program featured talks, networking, and breakout discussion sessions.  A brief event summary report can be found HERE.
