Your WAA Housing Selection Timeslot Information
You will receive your selection timeslot approximately 2 days before room selection begins.
Log-In Instructions
To log-in please click the Log-In button in the top menu, and then select "Student Login."
Students will use their UMBC Single Sign-On (SSO) to enter the portal. If you were recently admitted be sure to upgrade your UMBC account first before attempting to access the housing portal.
About the UMBC Residential Life Housing Portal
We encourage students to log into their housing portal regularly to keep up-to-date about life as a Residential Retriever. The Housing Portal is for current and newly admitted UMBC students to:
- Apply for housing
- Review room & roommate information
- Complete forms and requests related to on-campus housing
- Review updates and reminders about on-campus housing
- Recieve messages and reminders for residential students
Students interested in applying for 2025-2026 on-campus housing should consider applying now!
Newly Admitted Undergraduate Students
- The guaranteed housing application will be available from February 1-May 1.
- The waitlist application will be available starting May 2.
Current Residents
- The guaranteed housing application for Walker Avenue Apartments will be available from March 3 at 10 a.m. until the first 500 applications are finalized.
- The guaranteed housing application for Residential Life Housing will be available from April 1-14.
- Waitlist applications will be available once the guaranteed application period has closed.
Current Commuters
- Commuters interested in living on campus can submit the Commuter Student Housing Selection Request Form beginning February 1, to be considered for participation in Housing Selection with current residents (see above); or
- You can submit a Housing Waitlist application beginning February 1.
